After opening The Five Point 23 years ago Matt wanted to try something new and exciting. In the wake of his illness he wanted to join up with a reputable franchise to set his family up with something concrete in the event of his possible passing. He then teamed up with Smittys Oyster House in Gibsons to Open a location on Main St in Vancouver. After 3 years of owning the franchise and Matt being in better health he decided to go back to his passion of creating fun, lively bars that provides good vibes and incredible moments to all his guests.

Matt came up with Anthem Pizza during the pandemic closures as a way to keep his businesses alive during the unprecedented times. After having much success with the concept at Park Drive with in house dining and takeout he has decided to build upon the pizzas and turn it into Anthem Sound Lounge here on Main.
